Absolutely! We offer complimentary Meet & Greets to get to know you and your Dog before joining our program.
Walks continue in most weather conditions, but in cases of extreme heat, cold, or storms, we may shorten or reschedule for your Dog’s safety. myDogWalker.co (myDogWalker.co)always keep you informed.
myDogWalker aims to assign the same walker for as long as possible for consistency and relationship building. Of course you are welcome to request another walker and myDogWalker will do their best to accommodate.
Great question! We offer both. You can choose based on your Dog’s personality and social comfort level to begin. Some Dogs love group walks, while others do best with one-on-one attention and training. We’re happy to tailor the experience to what suits your Dog best.
Yes, myDogWalker absolutely does. Senior Dogs deserve special care, and we tailor certain routes to match their pace and needs. Whether it's a slow stroll or even a partial carried walk, we're here to keep your Dog comfortable and happy. Connect with us to learn more about joint health and how to help your Dogs age gracefully.
myDogWalker team members undergo background checks, which are available upon request, and are trained in both individual Dog safety and group pack handling. We equip all our walkers and trainers with stopwatches to reduce phone usage during walks. For clients who request it, we provide photo updates after each walk. You can also subscribe to GPS-tracked walks for an additional $8/walk to follow your Dog's route in real-time.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are ideal—your Dog will simply be removed from the schedule for the day, no questions asked. For last-minute cancellations, the full service fee will apply unless the cancellation is due to severe weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding as this helps us respect our walkers’ time and routes.
At myDogWalker, we pride ourselves on an open-door policy and believe every Dog deserves a chance at a great walk. We assess each case individually to ensure safety for everyone involved. For reactive or aggressive dogs, we highly recommend a solo walk and suggest at least one training session per week with our designated Dog Trainer to support progress and consistency.
myDogTrainer offers a range of training including obedience, lead manners, puppy to adulthood guides, recall, behavioural adaptations, and preferred socialization. myDogTrainer will begin with an initial assessment to understand your Dog’s behaviour, personality, and Family goals. Based on that, we’ll recommend a custom plan—whether it’s one-on-one sessions, pack integration training, or a solo walk program.
myDogWalker ensures safety on route by implementing several key measures:
1. Pet Corrector Spray for Protection: All Dog walkers are equipped with Pet Corrector spray to deter aggressive animals, Dogs or pack threatening individuals, providing an extra layer of safety for both the Dog(s) and myDogWalker.
2. Proper Harness Wear: Dogs are securely fitted with harnesses to prevent slipping out or unexpected escapes, ensuring better control during the walk and minimizing the risk.
3. Upgraded GPS Tracking: Walks are monitored in real-time through upgraded GPS tracking, allowing Dog Families to follow the route, check-in on progress, and receive alerts if anything unusual occurs — giving peace of mind and ensuring accountability.
