myDogWalker

I’m Kylee Burbank, the heart behind myDogWalker.
I’ve called Okotoks home for over 25 years.
I’m the middle child of Cam and Dionne Burbank, with two brothers — Morgan and Payton, whom I love dearly.
Growing up, my Dad was deeply rooted in the local sports scene. I remember countless evenings at the Foothill Composite High School field, watching him coach my Brothers year after year. Rain, snow, or shine, we gathered on those sidelines, cheering and learning together. Those moments instilled in me the values of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork — foundations that continue to shape who I am today.
I was raised Mormon, and while that faith guided much of my early life, I eventually stepped away to explore my own spirituality. In doing so, I found a deeper connection to nature, energy, and the Universe — a sense of belonging that mirrors the unity and purpose I first learned on those fields. Both experiences, though seemingly different, taught me the importance of connection: to community, to myself, and to something greater.
My Grandpa is Native American and was adopted out at birth. Years later, when our family reconnected with his birth family, it marked the beginning of a return home.
It’s from these roots that this community was born. Our work is Indigenous not only because of lineage, but because it’s grounded in Indigenous values — connection, respect for the land, reciprocity, and community. Everything we create and share carries that spirit forward: honouring where we come from while building a future rooted in belonging and balance.
Through myDogWalker, I bring together compassion, mindfulness, and respect for all living beings — offering care that’s grounded, intentional, and filled with heart.
