myDogWalker

I’m Kylee Burbank, the heart behind myDogWalker—a community built on connection.
I first learned the value of connection at home.
My Dad was deeply rooted in the local sports scene. I remember countless evenings at the Foothill Composite High School field, watching him coach my brothers year after year in Eagles Football. Rain, Snow or Shine, we gathered on those sidelines—
Those moments instilled in me dedication, perseverance, and teamwork.
I was raised in the Mormon faith, which shaped much of my early life. Over time, I stepped away from that structure and found a connection to nature—a sense of belonging rooted in unity and purpose, and one I strive to bring forward for every Dog entrusted to my care.
Though these experiences may seem different, they taught me the same lesson: the importance of connection—to community, to self, and to something greater. That understanding deepened as I began to learn where our family comes from.
My Granddad is Native American by blood and was adopted out at birth. Years later, when our family reconnected with his birth family, it marked the beginning of a return home.
It is from these roots that this community was born.
Our community is Indigenous-based not only through lineage, but through values—connection, respect for the land, reciprocity, and community.
Everything we create and share carries that spirit forward, honouring where we come from while building a future rooted in belonging and balance.
Through myDogWalker, we bring together compassion, mindfulness, and respect for all living beings—offering care that is grounded, intentional, and filled with heart.
